BackOffice Associates® is proud to sponsor Professional tennis player, James Blake. He is currently the second-highest ranked American and 16th in the ATP World Rankings. A right-hander, James was born in Yonkers, NY in 1979 and resides in Tampa, FL. James turned pro in 1999 under the coaching of Brian Barker. In 2007, James authored the best selling book, “Breaking Back” about the obstacles he overcame to become a world class player.
BackOffice Associates is a proud supporter of the Thomas Blake Sr. Memorial Research Fund. In the summer of 2008, James announced the Thomas Blake Sr. Memorial Research Fund at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in memory of his late father. Important fundraising initiatives will include his tennis charity exhibition BackOffice “Serving for a Cure” and the J-Block merchandise program. In the next twelve months James has set a goal to raise $1 million for cancer research.
