Thousands of customers use our DB2 Connectivity products to access IBM DB2 data using our OLE DB, ODBC, .NET and JDBC standards-based products. This data can also be optionally encrypted and authenticated via Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) with HiT SSL Server.

Our data replication product, DBMoto, performs real-time data replication for IBM iSeries/AS400 servers, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Sybase, and Access databases. DBMoto helps companies to move data from relational databases to e-commerce and data warehouse applications in a fast and secure fashion.

Since 2000, HiT Software has been at the forefront of XML development with Allora, a set of design-time tools and a run-time engine that enable applications to perform real-time, bi-directional transformations between XML and data residing in relational databases. Allora gives developers a simple, consistent XML interface to relational data and a powerful infrastructure to bridge XML and databases.

SafeConduct, our latest product and based on technology HiT Software has been using in house for several years, ensures application access security for new and legacy systems. SafeConduct brings benefits of the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) v3.0 standard, including digital certificate authentication and 256-bit data encryption, to any point-to-point Internet or VPN application data traffic.

Allora™

Graphical Database XML Mapping and Transformation

Allora leverages leading edge XML mapping and database technology to give application developers  bi-directional access to relational databases without the need for complex SQL or XSLT programming.  Allora speeds development and deployment by accurately and transparently transforming data  structures between XML elements/attributes and relational database structures. Once Allora mapping  is in place, full bi-directional XML-RDB access is enabled. Allora gives developers a simplified,  consistent XML interface to relational data.

Allora brings even more value to application developers or DBAs that need to integrate any relational  database (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, Sybase, MS Access, Gupta, Ingres, Datacom, IDMS,  PostgreSQL, VisualFox Pro, Pointbase, etc…) with complex industry standard schemas. Multi-Server Capabilities

Based on the success of DBMoto’s ability to synchronize data between two databases, the new version includes enhancements to synchronize data between multiple data sources.
DBMoto 7 offers proven support for replication between database clusters such as Oracle RAC, and successful operation within a Microsoft Windows cluster environment.
Significant new server capabilities enable remote administrative control of DBMoto from any selected location, or multiple locations.

Increased Security for Data Management

DBMoto administrators can use DBMoto security or Microsoft Windows Integrated Security to manage multi-user access on functional-level operations.
DBMoto 7 offers new flexible options for managing and filtering access to tables in source and target databases.
Enhancements to metadata management provide support for backup/recovery operations, disaster recovery plans, data migration and ease of updates/reinstalls.

Data Auditing

The new DBMoto Verifier™ feature allows users to compare and manage data before and after replication for increased accuracy in the design and configuration of replications.
A new data audit feature provides the ability to export changed data to a log table, and subsequently to a file format of choice.

Increased Database Support for Transactional Data Replication

DBMoto 7 provides transaction log-based support for Change Data Capture and synchronization with an IBM DB2 LUW source, as well as support for the LOB data type.
Increasing its list of supported databases, HiT Software adds support for snapshot replication and Change Data Capture for Netezza data warehouse appliances (as a target), from any major database including IBM DB2, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
Additional features include support for DB2 for IBM i minimized journal entries, and support for the XML data type in various databases.

Customizable GUI

The new DBMoto Management Center sports a dynamic, configurable GUI for easy customization by each user. Wizards and functionality remain intact, with additional navigational options for ease-of-use.
