Class Descriptions:

BackOffice Data StagingWarehouse™

Participants receive two-and-a-half days of training on the methodology and tools used by BOA™ consultants to provide Boring Go Live® data migrations for SAP® implementations. The BackOffice Data StagingWarehouse™ (DSW) course is structured to familiarize users with how Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008, Management Studio and DSW work. Participants will learn the methodology and tools that comprise the framework used to clean and manipulate data in order to make it ready for SAP migration. Data StagingWarehouse is now being offered with EZMap™ and DataDialysis®!

BDCdirect®

This one-day training course is designed to teach BOA clients to use BDCdirect® to load data into SAP. Participants will create a recording and map data that resides in the BackOffice Data StagingWarehouse (DSW) to fields in SAP using BDCdirect.

DataDialysis®

The DataDialysis® Training Course is a one day course and is intended for individuals responsible for the implementation of the standard set of DataDialysis® reports delivered with a new installation.

DataDialysis® is delivered with a set of over 500 standard reports to help a company disclose the quality of its data in SAP and find errors, inconsistencies and referential integrity issues in master data. SAP is a highly configurable application that is implemented in a unique manner for each client. To allow for the required flexibility, many of the reports are built upon configurable tables that need to be maintained in order for the reports to run properly.

The DataDialysis® Training course covers the necessary steps that are required to complete the configuration of these tables, a process for creating new tables and reports, and steps to register the report. Exercises are based on predefined business requirements that use the Material, Customer and Vendor Master tables.

The BackOffice Data StagingWarehouse™ course is a prerequisite for the DataDialysis® Training course.

EZMap™

The EZMap™ - Mapper’s Edition is a one day training that demonstrates the procedural steps of field mapping and value mapping through the use of specific examples. Hands-on exercises are utilized to create source-to-SAP table mapping.

The BackOffice Data StagingWarehouse™ course is a prerequisite for the EZMap™ - Mapper’s Edition Training course.

CranSoft® Development & cApps™

The CranSoft® Development & cApps™ with SQL 2008 course spans four–and-a-half days and covers the following topics:

• Development Design – Two days dedicated to designing and creating a functional WebApp using the CranSoft® .Net architecture.
• cApps™ – Two days dedicated to business end users and Individuals responsible for configuring and implementing a Collaborative Application (cApp™).
• Passive Data Governance™ and Application Overview – Half day overview of DataDialysis®, BDCdirect®, EZMap™ and DataGarage®.

Participants will build a complete web application to support their business needs, and configure and implement Collaborative Applications (cApps) using cConfig™ and cMat™.

The CranSoft Development is a prerequisite for cApps. However, CranSoft Development may be taken independently from the cApps Training course.

Combination Class - BackOffice Data StagingWarehouse™ and EZMap™

The combination of BackOffice Data StagingWarehouse™ and EZMap™ is a three and a half day class that covers the DSW curriculum encompassing specific references to the integration of EZMap™ in the data migration methodology followed by hands-on exercises in EZMap™.

Combination Class - BackOffice Data StagingWarehouse™ and DataDialysis®

The combination of BackOffice Data StagingWarehouse™ and DataDialysis® is a three and a half day class that covers the DSW curriculum concentrating on the advanced SQL and naming convention methodology required to write DataDialysis® reports followed by hands-on exercises in DataDialysis®.
